    “A welcome delight!”
We ate twice at Dingo Deli and both times it was fantastic. The staff are all really friendly and the food if you're after a western meal is delightful. Probably the best breakfast I have had in my four months in SE Asia. Great eggs Benedict, great staff and two big thumbs up for the cool refreshing towels offered when you arrive. A pleasant reprieve on a hot day.

    Going Gourmet: Dingo Deli

    Amy Morison

No, there is no dog on the menu! To answer a rather amusing suggestion I heard along the Hoi An grapevine. The name ‘Dingo’ instead refers to the Australian background of owners Gordon and Michelle who opened Hoi An’s first gourmet delicatessen earlier this year.

The art of coffee making at Dingo Deli

Dingo Deli's excellent reputation for a good Italian cuppa coffee is spreading, but what makes it taste so superior?  Gordon North, owner and barista says, "Firstly not everyone should make the coffee. We have only three baristas at Dingo Deli, each have made over a thousands coffees and are very diligent in the preparation of every cup we serve.  We use Lavazza coffee beans for its world wide recognition of quality coffee and training. As a licensed Lavazza seller we are under constant scrutiny of the Lavazza team who provide regular training sessions.

Choose your own adventure: Dingo Deli’s new playground!

    Emma Bolton

The newly built, ‘Adventure Playground’ in Dingo Deli's sizable backyard has proven not only a hit with the expat kids, but a fun and safe haven for many of the local Vietnamese children in the area who have never had a playground before. Not only do all the kids (of a variety of ages) have access to the coolest play area in town, but what a wonderful platform for cultural exchange between holidaying families and locally-based youngsters! It’s exactly the type of community result that owners Michele and Gordon had hoped when they opened Dingo Deli almost 2 years ago.
